Woven on a bachstrap loom from all-white cotton in warp-faced plain weave ; 6-centimeter decorated area of openwork along the lower border of the legs, executed in gauze with discontinued wefts, edged by rows of plain gauze. The structural design represents an open zigzag pattern. The hand-spun warp is thick in diameter, while the weft (commercial) is fine and barely visible. The solid areas are worked in pattered gauze, while the 'bars' connecting the gauze units are given an open lace-like effect. Geschenk van Teresa Pomar.
