Huipil

De "huipil" uit Mazatlán is identiek aan die welke gedragen wordt in San Pedro Acatlán. Huipil White and red cotton Acquired 1953 Dimensions: L: 87 cm W: 84 cm Description: White cotton, plain weave with cording. Huipil consists of three panels, joined with blue 'randa' work. Yoke predominantly red, with large red weft blocks separated by white bands with red brocading of geometrical motifs. The neck opening, a vertically cut split, is finished with red 'randa' work.
