Tafelkleed

Klein tafelkleed geweven van handgesponnen witte katoen in afwisselend linnenbinding, lancé en gaasweefsel waardoor een structureel patroon van dwarsstrepen in het geheel witte weefsel ontstaat. All white textile. Structural patterning: four different techniques used to give textural variation. Cross stripes of plain weave plus weft brocading (approx. 2 cm wide) alternate with cross stripes of all-over plain gauze (2.25 cm wide) - five of the former and four of the latter produce a 16-19 cm wide patterned weave, which is partly lace-like and partly solid and corded.
