Wollen poncho

Veldaantekeningen IWJ (1953):...saw Mixe man wearing a nice brown and white jorongo - pattern like that of the Zinacanteco woman's head cloth - but individual rectangles are larger. Jorongos come from Tamazulapan or Tlahuitoltepec - Mixes in this area have sheep - sell jorongos and wool in plaza of Tamazulapan and Ayutla - there are also other jorongos of brown and white wool of plain weave with a striped pattern.
